COMMUTER COUNTRY
William Bulwer-Long Memorial Novices` Hunters` Chase – Fakenham, 17th March 2000
The Horseracing Forensic Laboratory has reported that the analysis of the urine taken from COMMUTER COUNTRY, owned by Margaret Brightwell, at Fakenham on 17th March 2000, has confirmed the presence of phenylbutazone and oxyphenbutazone, which are prohibited substances. This finding has been confirmed by the Australian Racing Forensic Laboratory, in Sydney, Australia who performed the counter analysis.
An enquiry will be held by the Jockey Club’s Disciplinary Committee in due course.
MALIHABAD (IRE)
Dick Woodhouse Hunters` Chase – Wincanton, 9th March 2000
The Horseracing Forensic Laboratory has reported that the analysis of the urine taken from MALIHABAD (IRE), owned by Graham Gingell, at Wincanton on 9th March 2000, has confirmed the presence of phenylbutazone and oxyphenbutazone, which are prohibited substances. This finding has been confirmed by the French Racing Laboratory in Paris, who performed the counter analysis.
An enquiry will be held by the Jockey Club’s Disciplinary Committee in due course.
MOSS PAGEANT

The Horseracing Forensic Laboratory has reported that the analysis of the urine taken from MOSS PAGEANT, trained by James Walton, at Newcastle on 18th March 2000, has confirmed the presence of tetramisole, which is a prohibited substance. This finding has been confirmed by the Hong Kong Jockey Club Racing Laboratory, who performed the counter analysis.
An enquiry will be held by the Jockey Club’s Disciplinary Committee in due course.
UP THE CLARETS (IRE)
Muirfield Riding For the Disabled Handicap Hurdle _ Musselburgh, 24th February 2000
The Horseracing Forensic Laboratory has reported that the analysis of the urine taken from UP THE CLARETS (IRE), trained by Chris Grant, at Musselburgh on 24th February 2000, has confirmed the presence of phenylbutazone and oxyphenbutazone, which are prohibited substances. This finding has been confirmed by the German Racing Laboratory in Cologne, who performed the counter analysis.
An enquiry will be held by the Jockey Club’s Disciplinary Committee in due course.
