Following the abandonment of racing at Carlisle on Sunday, 28 November, the British Horseracing Authority (BHA), in conjunction with The Jockey Club, is pleased to confirm that the Houghton Mares’ Chase (Class 1) (Listed) will be rescheduled to Aintree Racecourse on Saturday, 4 December to form an eight race card.The total prize fund will be £27,500 and the race will close for all entries at noon on Tuesday, 30 November.
