BHB can now confirm that the April race meeting at Sandown Park which will take place on April 27th and 28th will now include the following Grade 1 opportunities:

3 miles ½ furlong £100,000

Saturday, April 28th

The Coral Eurobet Championship Hurdle Race
2 miles ½ furlong £85,000
The ladbrokescasinos.com Championship Steeple Chase
2 miles £85,000

BHB is extremely grateful to the Executives of Sandown Park and Cheltenham, to the Horserace Betting Levy Board and to the new race sponsors for their help in making it possible to provide these consolation races following the great disappointment at the loss of the Cheltenham National Hunt Festival. The addition of these races to the race programmes at Sandown Park requires substantial changes to programme content for both Friday and Saturday.
