The British Horseracing Authority (BHA) has today confirmed that the Group 3 Horris Hill Stakes and Group 3 St Simon Stakes have been rescheduled following the abandonment of Newbury’s fixture on Saturday 28 October.

Both races will now take place at Newmarket, with the St Simon Stakes being staged on Friday 3 November and the Horris Hill Stakes on the following Saturday 4 November. Original entries for both races have been cancelled and entries for these replacement races will now close at noon on Tuesday 31 October.

The Horserace Betting Levy Board will be making an increased contribution above the scheduled ratecard payment for these races.

The BHA has also confirmed today that an additional afternoon All-Weather fixture will take place at Lingfield on Wednesday 1 November. Entries for this fixture will be taken on Saturday 28 October prior to declarations on Monday 30 October.
