Trade Organisation
The official body which plans and regulates Arabian racing in Great Britain, operating with the support and permission of BHA.
Racecourse Group
Including Doncaster, Newcastle, Chepstow and Lingfield Park (home of the £1M All Weather Championships), ARC is the largest racecourse group in the UK by number of fixtures.
Satellite Racing Channel
A free horseracing channel broadcasting live action from the UK on satellite and cable. It is majority owned by racecourses and operates through a joint venture partnership between BSkyB and Arena Leisure Plc.
Membership Association
BEVA serves and leads the equine veterinary profession in the championing of high standards of equine health and welfare and the promotion of scientific excellence and education throughout the world.
Horserace Marketing
The series incorporates the top 35 Flat races in the British horseracing calendar comprising of 5 championship categories.
Industry Education
A Centre of Excellence for Training in the horseracing industry, the BRS is accredited by the BHA. Located in Newmarket, it provides education for those already working in racing and young people wanting to get into the industry.
Industry Organisation
Managed by the BHA, the Careersinracing team implements recruitment, training, education and community initiatives for the horseracing industry including the BHA Graduate Programme and ‘Raceday for Schools’ online resource.

Thoroughbred auction house which manages sales throughout the year at its sales complex in Doncaster.
Trade Association
The EMHF was founded to coordinate the promotion of Thoroughbred horseracing in the European and Mediterranean region, to bolster its prestige and protect its integrity, and to develop relations between the organisations responsible for running the sport. The EMHF is part of the International Federation of Horseracing Authorities.

The Thoroughbred Group
Represents the common interests of British racing’s owners, trainers, jockeys, stable staff and thoroughbred breeders represented by each one’s relevant bodies.
Funding
Responsible for collecting a statutory levy from bookmakers which it then distributes for the improvement of horseracing and breeds of horses and for the advancement of veterinary science and education.

The IJF provides financial, medical and pastoral assistance to jockeys past and present who have suffered through injury and who are in charitable need.
Jockey training Charity
A career development scheme helping jockeys to plan and achieve a secure future after race riding through the provision of career coaching, training and training grants/scholarships and employment advice. JETS is a registered charity.
Industry Stakeholder
The largest commercial group in British racing, with assets including the Crabbie’s Grand National, the Cheltenham Festival and Investec Derby Festival, and governed by Royal Charter to act solely for the good of the sport.
Racehorse Charity
Located in West Sussex, Moorcroft provides rehabilitation for former racehorses with the aim of finding suitable alternative homes based on their abilities and needs. They also offer demonstrations and courses for those wanting to learn to help their horses.

The independent Certified Trade Union representing Stable Staff employed by Licensed Trainers.
Breeding & Education
Owned by the Jockey Club,The National Stud provides comprehensive breeding services and runs two annual residential courses tailored to provide students with the industry knowledge and practical training required for a successful career in the Thoroughbred industry.

An independent charity based in Newmarket that offers services and facilities for stud and stable staff, including the RACEFIT gym, a Racing Chaplin, Injured Jockeys Fund Almoners and Racing Welfare Officers.
Charitable Organisation
The Racing Foundation is a charitable organisation, established in 2012, to receive, invest and distribute Tote sale proceeds to charities associated with the UK horseracing and thoroughbred breeding industry.

Racing Post is a media company which focuses on horse racing, bloodstock, greyhounds, football and sports betting. The company publishes a daily national newspaper, and runs multiple websites and mobile products including racingpost.com. It also has an iPad newspaper app, successful social media platforms, and a growing syndication B2B division.
Syndicates and Clubs Association
Formed to promote fair trading practices, to help consumers enjoy the experience, even if the racehorse fails to live up to expectations on the racecourse.
Participants Welfare Charity
A charity which provides a comprehensive welfare service to help those in need who work in, or are retired from, the thoroughbred breeding and racing industry in the UK and their dependants.

Racecourse Media Group Ltd (RMG) is the umbrella media rights organisation for 34 racecourses which own an interest in Racing UK, Turf TV and GBI Racing.
