A small number of alterations have been made to the 2015 Fixture List in order to accommodate the Professional Jockeys Association’s 2015 ‘Lesters’ ceremony which is scheduled to take place in the Birmingham area on 22nd December.

It was previously agreed between BHA and PJA that the Fixture List should try to accommodate the event as best as possible after it had been moved from its previous position on Good Friday.

The alterations made are as follows:

• Ayr fixture previously scheduled for 22 December has swapped with the fixture scheduled for 21 December at Bangor-on-Dee
• Lingfield’s 22 December fixture has been moved to 21 December
• Wolverhampton twilight fixture on 22 December has become an afternoon fixture
• Wolverhampton 21 December fixture has become a twilight fixture

The result of these amendments is that the fixtures taking place on 22 December 2015 are now Bangor-on-Dee (Jumps), Wolverhampton (Flat) and Southwell (Flat), all in afternoon slots.

Separately, it has already been announced that a twlight fixture scheduled for Sunday 27 December 2015 at Chelmsford City has been moved to the afternoon. In order to better balance the Fixture List in this period a further change has been made with the fixture scheduled for Southwell on 27 December now moving to 30 December, switched to a twilight slot and now being staged at Wolverhampton.
