• One race from original card will be retained, all others abandoned
• Five new races added

The British Horseracing Authority (BHA) has given permission for the 12 October Flat fixture at Ayr Racecourse to be run on the hurdles course.

This has necessitated the abandonment of six races with just the Class 6 handicap over 1m 5f being retained.  It has been necessary to reduce the safety factor of this race to 14.

The new races will close at noon on Friday, 6 October, while declarations to run must be made by 10am on 10 October.  The running-order is as below, with the existing race in italics:
