The British Horseracing Authority (BHA) has today announced that an additional fixture will take place at Chelmsford City on Saturday 2 February.

This is due to  the unfavourable forecast over the next few days which offers cause for concern for Saturday’s Turf fixtures.

The afternoon fixture will be a six-race card. Entries will close tomorrow, Thursday 31 January at 12 noon, with declarations on Friday 1 February by 10am.

The deadline for jockey bookings deadline for all races taking place on Saturday 2 February will be delayed until 1pm on Friday 1 February.
