Following a season where abandonments have again been prevalent and with current entry and declaration levels high, the British Horseracing Authority (BHA) is pleased to announce an additional fixture, which will take place on Sunday, 28th April, at Huntingdon Racecourse.
The seven race card will close at noon on Monday, 22nd April, with declarations to run made by 10a.m. on Friday, 26th April.
Nadia Gollings, General Manager at Huntingdon, said:
“We are delighted at Huntingdon Racecourse to have been asked by the BHA to stage an additional meeting on Sunday 28th April, particularly as our track has suffered from a number of abandonments due to flooding and frost over the winter months. We are pleased for our racegoers and annual members that we have been granted a new jump racing fixture and standard admission will be discounted from £15 to £5 for this meeting.”
This additional fixture is the third of four planned additional Sunday Jump fixtures. The fourth and final meeting will be on 12th May at Kempton. Race conditions for the Kempton meeting will be released on Friday, 26th April.
The BHA is grateful to the Levy Board and Huntingdon Racecourse for their help in staging this fixture.
