The British Horseracing Authority (BHA) has today confirmed that the Glenfarclas Cross Country Handicap Chase scheduled to take place on day one of Cheltenham’s The November Meeting fixture on Friday 11th November, will be moved to Festival Trials Day on Saturday 28th January. This is due to the lack of rain over the summer months.

The Glenfarclas Cross Country Handicap Chase will be replaced by a veterans’ handicap chase over two and a half miles on The Old Course which will close on Saturday 5 November with the rest of the card.
