The British Horseracing Authority (BHA) can today confirm that additional All-Weather fixtures will take place at Newcastle on Sunday 19 November and Wolverhampton on Tuesday 21 November.
Sunday’s fixture at Newcastle will be an afternoon seven-race card, with the option to divide to nine. Entries close at 12 noon tomorrow (Thursday), with declarations to be made by 10am on Friday at the 48-hour stage.
Tuesday’s fixture at Wolverhampton will be a seven-race twilight card which carries the option to divide to nine. The card will feature a majority of Weight-For-Age Maiden or Novice races, with the remainder of the races made up of Handicaps. Entries close at 12 noon tomorrow, with declarations to be made by 10am on Sunday.
Race programmes for both additional fixtures will be available on Racing Admin this afternoon.
The BHA is grateful to the Horserace Betting Levy Board (HBLB) for their contribution to prize money for these additional fixtures.
The BHA can also confirm today that two new Hurdle races have been added to Hexham’s fixture on Wednesday 22 November following the abandonment of their Steeple Chases due to waterlogging. Hexham’s card, which closes for entries tomorrow at 12 noon, now consists of five Hurdle races and a National Hunt Flat race.
