The British Horseracing Authority (BHA) can confirm that the three Steeple Chases scheduled to take place at Bangor-on-Dee’s fixture on Friday 13 December have been abandoned due to damage to the Chase course caused by Storm Darragh.

They will be replaced by two additional Hurdle races to create a six-race card, permitted to divide to seven.

The additional races will close for entries at 12pm tomorrow (Tuesday), with declarations taking place on Wednesday along with the rest of the card.

The race conditions for the additional races will be available to view on Racing Admin.
