Following the abandonment of Huntingdon’s fixture on Sunday 10 December, the British Horseracing Authority (BHA) can confirm the rescheduling of the Listed Mares’ National Hunt Flat Race to Doncaster on Friday 15 December.
The race will be run for £20,000 and all existing entries from Huntingdon will not stand. The race will be reopened for new entries, closing at 12 noon tomorrow (Tuesday), with declarations to be made by 10am Wednesday at the 48-hour stage.
The BHA is grateful to the Horserace Betting Levy Board (HBLB) for their contribution to prize-money for this rescheduled race, and to Doncaster for agreeing to host.
Having considered the original race and the upcoming race programme, the BHA has made the decision not to reschedule the Grade 2 Peterborough Chase which was also scheduled to take place at Huntingdon on Sunday.
