The BHA has today confirmed that the Listed Warwick Mares’ Hurdle will be staged at Haydock Park on Saturday 17 February.

The race had been scheduled to take place at Warwick’s fixture tomorrow, Saturday 10 February, which was abandoned this morning due to waterlogged ground.

The race will be run for £30,000 and form part of an eight-race card. The race will be reopened, with entries taken by noon on Monday along with the rest of the card.

The BHA is grateful to the Horserace Betting Levy Board (HBLB) for their contribution to prize-money for this rescheduled race, and to Haydock for agreeing to host.

The Grade 2 Kingmaker Novices’ Chase, which was also due to take place at Warwick tomorrow, will not be rescheduled.
