The British Horseracing Authority (BHA) can confirm the transfer of Redcar’s fixture on Tuesday 7 November to Chelmsford.
This follows a request from Redcar to transfer the fixture to Chelmsford following a recent period of heavy rainfall which has left the course unraceable.
With an unfavourable weather forecast at Redcar over the coming days, the BHA Racecourse Inspectorate agree that it is unlikely conditions will improve sufficiently for the fixture to take place as planned.
Because the fixture is moving surface and region, there will be slight amendments to race conditions in order to fit the existing race programme. The programme will be available on Racing Admin later today.
