The BHA can today confirm a number of upcoming fixture changes, detailed below, following recent weather disruption caused by Storm Babet.
The race programmes for all fixture changes will be available on Racing Admin later today.
Additional All-Weather fixtures
Lingfield – 27 October
This will be an eight-race card, with the ability to divide to nine. Entries will close by 12pm tomorrow (Wednesday), with declarations to be made by 10am on Thursday at the 24-hour stage.
Newcastle – 30 October
This will be an eight-race card, with the ability to divide to nine. Entries will close by 12pm tomorrow (Wednesday), with declarations to be made by 10am on Saturday.
Chelmsford – 4 November
This will be an eight-race card, with the ability to divide to nine. Entries will close by 12pm Monday, with declarations to be made by 10am on Thursday 2 November.
All-Weather fixture transfer – Southwell to Newcastle (2 November)
Following extensive flooding at Southwell, the track is currently unraceable. This fixture on Thursday 2 November has been transferred to Newcastle, with the race programme remaining the same.
All-Hurdle card at Bangor (31 October)
Due to the Steeple Chase and Hurdle courses being currently waterlogged and in order to give the fixture every chance of going ahead, the BHA Inspectorate have given permission to transfer the existing Hurdle races and National Hunt Flat race to the Inner course on 31 October. Steeple Chases will be abandoned and two new Hurdle races have been added.
This will be be a six-race card, with the ability to divide to seven. Entries will close by 12pm tomorrow (Wednesday) with declarations to be made by 10am on Sunday.
