The British Horseracing Authority has today announced that due to the spate of recent abandoned fixtures, Chelmsford City will host an additional all weather fixture this Sunday, 21 January 2018.

Entries will close tomorrow, Thursday 18 January at 12 noon, with declarations at the 48 hour stage as normal on Friday 19 January.

The full race programme, conditions and further fixture information will be available via the racing admin site www2.racingadmin.co.uk.

Mike Waring, Senior Race Planning Executive at the British Horseracing Authority, said:

“Given that the recent weather has led to a number of abandoned fixtures, we offered racecourses the opportunity to stage an additional fixture which will hopefully benefit owners, participants, punters and the horse population.”
