Joint Jockey Club/British Horseracing Board Statement
Following the announcement by MAFF of the extension of the exclusion zone around Heddon on the Wall to 10 miles, Newcastle, which falls inside the zone, will not stage its fixture on Monday 26th February.
This decision has been taken by the Stewards of the Jockey Club in consultation with BHB and Newcastle racecourse.
As at 5.00pm today (24th February), no other race meetings are affected.
