ADRIAINA, Lingfield, 14th June 2000, The Come to Australia Night on 1st July Handicap Stakes
The Stewards of the Jockey Club considered the report of the enquiry into the running of the winner, ADRIANA, ridden by Adrian Nicholls and trained by Clive Brittain, as compared to the filly`s previous runs in which she had never been placed.
At the enquiry on the racecourse, Mr J Spouse, representing the trainer had said that ADRIANA had appreciated the step up in trip and firm ground on this occasion.
Having viewed video recordings of the filly`s previous runs, the Stewards decided not to refer the case to the Disciplinary Committee.
FIFE AND DRUM (USA), 17th June 2000, The Century 106 “Chilly in the Morning” Maiden Handicap Stakes
The Stewards of the Jockey Club considered the report of the enquiry into the running of the winner, FIFE AND DRUM (USA), ridden by Gary Carter and trained by Ed Dunlop, as compared to the gelding`s previous runs in which it had never been placed.
At the enquiry on the racecourse, the trainer had said that FIFE AND DRUM (USA) had benefitted from the fitting of blinkers on this occasion.
Having viewed video recordings of the gelding`s previous runs, the Stewards decided not to refer the case to the Disciplinary Committee.

The Stewards of the Jockey Club considered the report of the enquiry into the running of the winner, GIVE NOTICE, ridden by Richard Quinn and trained by John Dunlop, as compared to the colt`s previous runs in which he had never been placed.
At the enquiry on the racecourse, Mr M Germon, representing the trainer had said that GIVE NOTICE had appreciated the step up in trip on this occasion.
Having viewed video recordings of the colts`s previous runs, the Stewards decided not to refer the case to the Disciplinary Committee.

The Stewards of the Jockey Club considered the report of the enquiry into the running of the winner, ALEXANDRINE (IRE), ridden by George Duffield and trained by Sir Mark Prescott, as compared to the filly`s previous runs in which she had never been placed.
At the enquiry on the racecourse, the trainer had said that ALEXANDRINE (IRE) is a large, green and backward filly who had improved from two to three.
