Brendan Powell

The Disciplinary Panel of the British Horseracing Authority (BHA) will hold an enquiry on Friday 25 April to determine whether Brendan Powell, rider of BATTLE GROUP in the Coral Scottish National Handicap Steeple Chase at Ayr on 12 April 2014, is in breach of Rule (B)54.3 of the Rules of Racing in respect of the number, rapidity and force with which he used his whip after the gelding showed a reluctance to start the race.
