Additional Flat races/Nursery races brought forward
Following feedback from trainers, a number of additional Flat races have been programmed as follows for next week:
22 July Catterick 7f 2yo 0-75 nursery Cl5
25 July Doncaster 5f 2yo Novice Fillies Cl5
25 July York 6f 2yo 0-80 nursery Cl4
25 July Ascot 7f 2yo 0-80 nursery Cl4
25 July Newmarket 1m 3+ Novice Fillies Cl5
27 July Redcar 5f 2yo 0-75 nursery Cl5
28 July Yarmouth 6f 2yo 0-75 nursery Cl5

This five nursery contests, beginning at Catterick on 22 July. Previously the first nursery of 2020 was due to take place at Goodwood on 30 July, but this has been brought forward to 22 July following requests from trainers.
The race at Catterick will close on Saturday 18 July at 12 noon. A file containing all ratings awarded to two-year-olds thus far will be available via the BHA website and Racing Admin site from 11am tomorrow.
The existing schedule for nurseries from 30 July onwards will remain unchanged.
Companion horses on the racecourse
Companion horses are now permitted to attend the racecourse, subject to prior approval from the Clerk of the Course and dependent on stabling capacity.
All companion horses should be vaccinated in accordance with the Vaccinations Code.
Trainers who wish to send a companion horse should notify the Clerk of the Course at declaration stage and complete the Online Transport and Declaration Form to ensure stable staff are registered to attend the fixture (see Section C of the full guidelines and operating procedures).
All stable staff attending the racecourse will need to comply with the mandatory health screening and other entry requirements of behind closed doors racing.
Please note that no other companion animals are permitted.
