Brighton Racecourse has taken the decision to delay the start to its Flat racing season due to poor grass growth following the prolonged wet and cold weather. The first three meetings – Thursday 25th April, Thursday 2nd May and Tuesday 7th May – have been relocated to other racecourses.

Details of the alterations to the 2013 fixture list are as follows:

The evening Flat fixture on Thursday, 25th April, will now be run at Lingfield Park (AWT).
The evening Flat fixture on Thursday, 2nd May, will now be run at Chepstow.
The afternoon Flat fixture on Tuesday, 7th May, will now be run at Great Yarmouth.

Race conditions remain the same and are available on the BHA’s Racing Administration website under Fixture and Races.
