Youngsters wanting to pursue a career in the racing industry will now be able to submit application forms directly to the British Horseracing Training Board (BHTB) on the Internet, thanks to an innovative addition to the BHB website.
The new section called ‘A Career In Racing’ can be found on the website at www.bhb.co.uk. It contains information about various types of employment and training within racing, and youngsters with access to the Internet can then complete an on-line application form which is transmitted to BHTB for consideration.
BHB Director of Training, Richard Nash, said: “”This initiative should bring opportunities in racing to the widest possible audience in the shortest possible time.””
